On this page you will find the summaries I have written for the perl5-porters mailing list. Three formats are available, raw POD (which is how I write the summaries), as well as text and html transforms. These latter versions are nothing fancy, just basically what you get by running pod2txt and pod2html.
There are also two versions available. The "short links" version refers to the fact that the pointers to the Xray mailing list archive have been run through the Metamark/xrl.us service to shorten the links suitable for e-mail delivery, and the "full links" versions retain the URLs in all their glory.
The most recent summary will probably be a "work in progress". Comments, criticims and corrections are all gratefully received.
The following pod files (long links only, and a mapping file to convert long links to xrl.us links) are available as a bzipped tape archive (410.3 KiB). You are welcome to use them as a corpus for testing POD manipulation modules. Warning: the files will be untarred into the current directory. So shoot me.

I reserve the right to edit the summaries to fix grammatical or spelling errors, and to adjust for link-rot. Apart from that no changes will be made with respect to the version published on the perl5-porters and the perl5-summary mailing lists.
Adriano Ferreira and I developed a set of guidelines for editing the summary. Maybe someone will be able to apply them in some other context. Feedback welcome.
